Save the Music Outdoor Performance Series

The Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership is bringing live music to the community. Now is the time to support local restaurants, local venues, and local musicians who don’t have open venues to perform in.

With our community and state in Phase 3 of the reopening plan, mass gatherings are still limited. Instead of stopping and gathering around artists, please tip them and walk on to eat, drink or shop at a nearby business in earshot.

Beginning Oct. 17 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m., see and hear live music by a variety of talented performers along Franklin Street (& the cross streets) throughout downtown — keep this event safe by wearing a mask, walking through downtown and keeping social distance as you enjoy all performers.

All musicians will be wearing masks and we look forward to seeing our community enjoy these solo performances safely, following all COVID-19 guidelines and state and Orange County orders.

This event series will support the artists who don’t have stadiums, concert halls or clubs to perform in while adding an ambience, a soundtrack, to our community as we continue to fight through the hard economic times.
