Indie Strings Summer Concert

Indie Strings, an adult string orchestra based in Durham, will hold its Summer Concert, Tuesday, June 24, at 7 pm in the Durham Armory.  The concert is free and open to the public.

The summer program includes music from the Folk Ensemble and the Cello Ensemble (including Irish tunes and the Village People’s YMCA).  The full orchestra takes the floor at 8 pm with a program that runs the musical gamut from Jupiter, from Gustav Holst’s The Planets, to Led Zeppelin’s Kashmir.
