Across the country, the pandemic wiped out 2.5 million restaurant jobs and forced more than 100,000 eateries to shutter. Now with easing restrictions and the ability to reopen, the restaurants that did make it through 2020 can’t find enough staffers.
As the university prepares to transition to full, in-person operations, at an employee forum meeting earlier this week, UNC leadership outlined the latest summer and fall semester plans.
