Orange County: School Budgets, Opioid Settlement Meeting, Early Voting

Chair of the Orange Count Commissioners Jamezetta Bedford spoke with 97.9 The Hill's Andrew Stuckey on Wednesday, April 24. She discussed an upcoming joint meeting among the County Commissioners and the Boards of Education for both Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools and Orange County Schools. They will be discussing upcoming budget needs for the school districts and a possible bond referendum to help fund those needs. She also previewed an upcoming community meeting on the use of Opioid Settlement funds, discussed early voting in Orange County, and more.
