THE PURPOSE OF THE STUDENT FORUM is to:
- Create awareness of issues that affect local high schools.
- Increase knowledge and understanding of these issues.
- Promote and facilitate dialogue between students about the issues and potential solutions.
FORMAT
WCHL preempts regular programming for a one hour discussion of an issue affecting local high schools. The moderator of each session presents facts about the issue, and then invites the 8 panelists (2 from each high school grade level) to share their views. Students not participating will be invited to submit questions and comments by email and Twitter. All high schools in the area will have an opportunity to host their own Student Forum.
