Tony Abbott, retired professor at Davidson College, inspiration of many of the country’s great writers, an award winning poet (including his most recent collection, “if words could save us”)  and novelist, and co-editor of “What Writers Do”  and author of “What Writers Do”, about the new book and what the books tells us about Lee Smith, Fred Chappell, Jill McCorkle, and many other favorite writers who visited Lenoir Rhyne’s Visiting Writers Series.
