Michael Parker, teacher of writing at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and author of THE WATERY PART OF THE WORLD, about the new book and Aaron Burr’s daughter, Theodosia, who was shipwrecked off the coast of North Carolina about 1812 and may have been taken in by the Outer Banks residents or  maybe killed by pirates.
