Life as an NFL player can be fast, glamorous, and uplifting, but what happens to the players physically and psychologically after their football career is over? Joining Dr. Tuggle this week is Dr. Karla Thompson, assistant professor, UNC Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and a neuropsychologist at the Brain and Body Health Program Program at UNC, a program to asses health needs and medical care to former NFL athletes.
