Candidate Codenames

Secret Service codenames are not actually secret or code.  They are deigned to make it easier for agents to communicate about the person they are protecting.  President Obama’s codename is Renegade.  George W. Bush’s was Trailblazer.

Two Republican presidential candidates have gotten their Secret Service codenames.

Donald Trump is “Mogul.”

Ben Carson is “Eli.”

Sick Math Burn

Maddy Douglas is a fourth grader.  She shut a “Common Core” math problem down.

The logic question introduces eight high school boys and girls who go on a series of dates in different combinations (apparently this is the same high school from 90210) and asks the students to figure out the final dating combination.

“I can’t answer this problem because my mom says acoording to girl code you shouldn’t date a friends x boyfriend,” Maddy wrote.

Maddy’s teacher was a fan of her answer, laughing and telling her, “good point.”
