David Beckham is the Sexiest Man Alive

According to People, David Beckham is the Sexiest Man Alive.  The magazine made the announcement on Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday night.  David Beckham is best known as a soccer star.  He is married to former Spice Girl, Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham.

Beckham is certainly in good company with the honor. The 2014 title went to Chris Hemsworth and previous titles have gone to the likes of Bradley Cooper, Matt Damon, Ryan Reynolds, Channing Tatum, Adam Levine, Hugh Jackman, and two-time winners Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

Beckham shared his gratitude on Facebook:

“I thought I was past my sell by date but thanks to People.com for the accolade and the compliment! I always feel a little shy when receiving these Awards, though it will make my Mum happy. This one the kids will laugh at, as they see what Daddy looks like in the morning!”
