The PTA Council heads to Raleigh to fight an unfunded class-size reduction requirement; Crook’s Corner celebrates a debut novelist.

Anna Hayes of the Crook’s Corner Book Prize Foundation joined Aaron to discuss this year’s prize, along with Maia Schuster of the Chapel Hill Public Library, prize reader Katie Baer, and last year’s winner, Matthew Griffin.

 

Lisa Kaylie and Sharon Kebschull Barrett of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro PTA Council joined Aaron to discuss Wednesday’s “advocacy day” at the General Assembly, urging lawmakers to repeal the class-size mandate.
