A Chapel Hill Town Council member speaks out for science; a threat is made against Chapel Hill High School.
Chapel Hill Town Council member (and UNC psychology professor) Hongbin Gu will be among the speakers at the “March for Science” in Raleigh on Saturday, April 14. Dr. Gu stopped by the studio to discuss the march, its importance, and the need for science in public policy.
WCHL news director Blake Hodge provided an update after we learned of a vague threat made against Chapel Hill High School – one that officials are taking seriously enough to step up a police presence on campus Tuesday.
