Like their namesakes, Blanche and Stella are strong-willed Southern Belles. They grew up in a colony of wild cats in Bahama, and if they’re not twin sisters, they sure look like it. They’re both pure white, with beautifully soft short hair. They’re full grown at two years old, and have spent the past year with a foster family (so they’re perfectly adjusted to living indoors with people).

C-13-078_1And like those namesakes, they have very different personalities. Blanche is as mellow as can be, content to sit on sills and watch the world go by through the window. And she’s a champion lap cat, curling up wherever she finds lap space available.

C-13-077_1Stella Mae, by contrast, is always moving and investigating. She finds her way into every room and under every chair, ever on the lookout for new things to play with. When she isn’t exploring, she’s another lap-napper.

They’d both be ideal cats for a loving home, and while it’d be nice for them to stay together, they’re old enough to go separately. You can meet and adopt them today through Independent Animal Rescue. They’re depending on the kindness of strangers.
