Johnny’s Gone Fishing is excited to welcome Living Poetry, the Triangle’s largest group of poets, to our shop for a special Open Mic Night paired with a wine tasting! The Open Mic, organized by Tara Lynne Groth of Living Poetry, will feature Chapel Hill-based reader Chris Slydel. Chris will read for 10 minutes followed by an open mic. Tyler Alderson Live

Tyler began playing guitar, banjo, and harmonica in his home state of Massachusetts, later following his passion for old-time music to Carnegie Mellon University. He then headed to Cork, Ireland, earning a Masters degree in Ethnomusicology from University College Cork while playing at pubs across the country.
