Nowruz 2015 – Persian New Year at UNC

Rare Book Collection Recent Acquisitions Evening

A not-under-glass display of additions to the Rare Book Collection from the past two years, including 16th-century English and French illustrated books, Maya colorplate volumes from the 19th century, photographic books by Ansel Adams, first editions of T. Wikipedia Edit-a-thon: American Indian History in North Carolina

Wilson Library Special Collections Learning Center Wikipedia is one of the world’s most popular websites and the first source many people use when seeking information. At the North Carolina Collection’s third Wikipedia edit-a-thon, participants will use library resources to update, improve, and create Wikipedia articles related to North Carolina’s state-recognized American Indian tribes. The event will begin with an introduction to Wikipedia editing. All are welcome; no subject knowledge or Wikipedia experience is necessary.
