5/12/17: Lynyrd Skynyrd “Simple Man”
“Mama told me, when I was young…” How many times have you heard people say that? With Mother’s Day coming up this weekend, it’s time to impart some good advice. Not from me, but from those wild-eyed Southern rockers known collectively as Lynyrd Skynyrd! It’s advice I’ve given to my son, Zac. It’s an anthem, and it’s been running through my head all day. It’s “Simple Man,” and there’s not a whole lot more I need to say about it. All that you need, is in your soul.
