Alex and Betsy Hitt have been nurturing the soil and bounty at Peregrine Farm in Alamance County for 30 years. They were one of the first local farms to supply Chapel Hill restaurants in the early 80’s. Now a staple at the Carrboro Farmers’ Market, you can find them every Saturday and Wednesday sharing flowers, vegetables and blueberries with their legion of fans.
