Newsletters, tweets, Instagrams… can you communicate effectively across media? We’re looking for a new Digital Content Manager for Chapelboro.com
The person we’re looking for is a strong writer in 140 characters or in a WordPress post. We need someone to edit website content while managing a social media presence with engaging content, effective SEO, and cohesive integration across all media. The Digital Content Manager will also send out newsletters to our Chapelboro Insiders email list twice a week.
A candidate for the Digital Content Manager should have strong knowledge of WordPress. Candidate should also be capable of managing a wide range of social media, including (but not limited to) Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, with an understanding of professional social media strategies and up-to-date best practices. Any experience with CSS and graphic design is a big plus.
WCHL has been the voice of Chapel Hill for over 60 years as the area’s news, talk, and Tar Heel station. Chapelboro is the station’s affiliated website, providing access to radio content, as well as lifestyle and opinion columns, expanded coverage, photos, video, and more. The position is full-time with benefits.
