Just down the road a piece out in Saxapahaw, accidental farmer Suzanne Nelson runs Cozi Farm, a diversified, thriving polyculture where animals are treated with reverence and grace, earthworms are cherished, and all critters eat a species-appropriate diet. I didn’t write that last bit, but it so describes Cozi Farm’s mission that I couldn’t resist using Suzanne’s own words.
