CHAPEL HILL– Coming off the Kentucky win, Carolina men’s basketball moved up four spots to No. 14 in the AP poll released Monday.

The 7-2 Tar Heels slid up three spots in the USA Today Coaches poll to No. 18. Coming off the loss, Kentucky slid down to No. 21 in the coaches poll and No. 19 in the AP ranks.

Undefeated Arizona remains No. 1 in both polls while ACC newcomer Syracuse is ranked No. 2 with an unblemished 10-0 record.

7-2 Duke is slotted at No. 8 in both polls while ACC schools Pittsburgh and Virginia received votes.
