The Paul Swest is an improvised free jazz trio with Charles Chace (guitar), Tony Stiglitz (drums), and Casey Toll (upright bass). With the use of multi-track recordings The Paul Swest can make three musicians sound like a band of five. The Paul Swest will provide a completely unique journey through sound. Shaina Lynn is a performing artist and activist from New Orleans. She uses poetry, song, rap, and dance to reflect the experience of being a black woman. Lynn will be performing Bayou Blues, which is based off of her real world experience of New Orleans culture and its dark history of racism. Show starts at 7:30pm on Thursday, and 8pm on Friday.
