Local Celebrity Drivers Deliver Meals on Wheels

The annual March for Meals is back, meaning that local celebrities are once again hitting the roads to deliver meals to seniors and home-bound citizens who rely on this vital service to remain independent at home.

Since 2002, hundreds of Meals on Wheels programs around the country have volunteered to deliver meals to senior citizens as well as provide friendly check ins. Local town officials from Chapel Hill and Carrboro were among the celebrities to hit the road this year and join in on the volunteer efforts. Check out the photo gallery from the event below.
