Stewart and Linda Painter are Tuesday’s Hometown Heroes.
Stewart and Linda are recognized for their work in the spirit of historic preservation in Hillsborough. They worked to renovate 106 S. Churton St in downtown.
Hillsborough Mayor Tom Stevens raved about the work they did to preserve the building.
