Lenders in China are reportedly coercing female college students to provide nude pictures as collateral for loans. This has obviously set off a firestorm.
Allegedly, what happens is women send the nude photos while holding ID cards to lenders. This can make them eligible for two to five times the normal loan amount. If loans aren’t paid on time, the photos would be published.
Robot Escapes
A robot in Russia escaped. It ended up on a busy road and caused quite the ruckus.
Atlantic City: The City of Pot
Some in Atlantic City, New Jersey are looking to turn the town into the City of Pot. A lawmaker plans to introduce a bill that would legalize marijuana in the city. The initiative is called the Promoting Opportunities for Tomorrow (POT) bill.
