Today’s Adopt-A-Pet is Melissa from the Goathouse Refuge in Pittsboro!

Melissa was abandoned as a kitten along with her brother, but has blossomed into an outgoing sweetheart. She is available to be adopted on her own, but the shelter thinks she would really love a home along with her brother, Dickey.

Unfortunately, black cats are often one of the last cats to be adopted because of the superstition surrounding them, but Melissa wants to show folks what they’re missing!
