The Inter-Faith Council for Social Services, or IFC, has announced they have now raised the money necessary to completely fund a new homeless shelter for men at 1315 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in Chapel Hill.
With more than 1,000 undocumented children crossing the southern border into the United States each week, locals are looking for a way to respond to what some are calling a “humanitarian crisis.”
The early steps in developing a new community shelter in our community is underway, thanks to the Chapel Hill and Carrboro’s Inter-Faith Council for Social Service.
