Bouncing Bulldogs Jump Rope Camp

The Bouncing Bulldogs jump rope camps are designed to offer children a unique opportunity to develop their mind and body.  Through fun-filled, challenging activities and learning tasks, jumpers are introduced to the latest techniques in single rope, double dutch, chinese wheel, traveler and long rope.  Whether a first time jumper or an experienced competitor, the camp provides experiences for the physical, social, intellectual and emotional development of all campers.

Your children ages 3 and up will learn new skills, make new friends, get exercise, and have fun! These camps take place in their climate controlled gymnasium located at the corner of Eubanks and Millhouse Roads.

Community Chorus Project Summer Workshops

Summer Glee Musical Theater Intensive
Now entering its eighth year, the Summer Glee workshop at UNC, Chapel Hill run in partnership with the Department of Music, gives up to 50 young participants, from grades 6-9, a rare opportunity to explore this greatest of all American art forms; musical theater. Taught by an extraordinarily talented and dedicated team of teachers and artists, our summer students build their vocal skills and confidence through group and individual voice instruction, work with a choreographer and acting coach, and take master classes with guest teachers, all of who have extensive musical theatre experience.

Summer Recording Workshop
This summer, 35 talented high school singers from across the Triangle will create a unique chorus that sings a cappella arrangements of contemporary pop and indie rock. Participants record in a professional studio, work with a NYC based voice teacher and producer, make a music videos, and perform at The Cat’s Cradle on June 30. In previous summers, students have received accolades from R.E.M., Ray Davies of the Kinks, David Byrne of Talking Heads, and St. Vincent for our versions of their songs.

Flip4Kids

Flip4Kids offers children all the fun of a traditional summer camp in a full immersion setting. Montessori Children’s House of Durham Summer Camps

Montessori Children’s House of Durham provides a quality, safe and fun summer camp experience for your child. With options for children aged 3 -14 including Art, Nature Exploration, Soccer, Cooking, Aerospace Engineering and more, MCHD has a summer camp experience your child will love.

All our weeks have specialty morning camps and some weeks have specialty afternoon camps as well.   Musical Theater will be a 2-week long all day Specialty Camp (9am – 4pm).

Each week we offer an MCHD Play Camp from noon to 3 pm.  This camp is designed to give students a time to relax,  hang out with friends, and choose any activities in our Summer classrooms.
