The US Women’s World Cup team will take the pitch in Canada for their second game of the group-play stage today.

The United States will face off with Sweden at eight o’clock tonight.

The national team is stacked with Tar Heels; six of the 23 members of the team are UNC products. Three former Carolina players are representing other countries at the tournament. That represents the largest number of representatives from any university.

There will be watch parties spread all across Chapel Hill for the game tonight.

The US team will finish up group play next Tuesday against Nigeria.
