UNC women’s lacrosse midfielder Ela Hazar has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.

Hazar tallied a career-high six points with two goals and a career-high four assists in the third-ranked Tar Heels’ 12-11 victory over No. 4 Syracuse over the weekend.

The two goals for Hazar helped UNC to an 8-7 halftime lead, and she followed that up by assisting on each of the final three goals for Carolina.

The Tar Heels will host Duke on Saturday in the regular season finale looking to finish off an undefeated conference slate. UNC has already clinched the ACC regular season title and number one seed in the Conference Tournament.
