In the NCAA’s annual men’s basketball attendance report–which was released on Tuesday–UNC ranked fourth in the country, which represents the school’s 30th top five finish in the last 31 years.

Over the course of 16 home games at the Smith Center in 2016-17, the Tar Heels played in front of a total of 289,075 fans.

That average of 18,067 fans per game ranked behind only Kentucky (23,461), Syracuse (21,181) and Louisville (20,846).

Creighton rounded out the top five with an average of 17,412 fans per game.

A total of 700,038 fans saw the Tar Heels play in person last year, including 153,780 during the team’s two Final Four games.

Only Kentucky–which played in front of 706,331 people–had more.

The ACC ranked second among all conferences with an average of 11,257 fans per game, and placed 13 of its 15 teams among the top 100 nationally.
