Tuesday officially marked 10 consecutive weeks at No. 1 in the Oracle/ITA team rankings for the UNC women’s tennis team, which currently boasts a 22-2 record overall and an 11-1 mark against ACC competition.
The newest poll has the Tar Heels’ next opponent–the Duke Blue Devils–at No. 4, setting up an epic top-five showdown this Friday with ACC regular season supremacy on the line.
Head coach Brian Kalbas’s squad remains the only team in America to have six players ranked among the top 125 in the women’s individual rankings.
UNC also continues to have the top-ranked doubles pairings on both the men’s (Robert Kelly and William Blumberg) and women’s (Alexa Graham and Jessie Aney) sides.
