UNC is warning fans who are hoping to purchase tickets to the team’s two remaining home games to be aware of counterfeit tickets.
Officials said in a release on Tuesday that several reports had been made regarding the “sale of counterfeit tickets which appear to be authentic.”
The university is encouraging fans to use caution when purchasing tickets and to only make those purchases through a trusted source. Anyone who sees any suspicious activity on campus, including the possible sale of fake tickets, is asked to call UNC Police.
UNC is facing Louisville on Wednesday and Duke on March 4 in the regular season finale.
