The North Carolina Tar Heels will be back in action on Friday night against the Virginia Cavaliers.

The No. 15 Tar Heels are coming off of a dominating 15-0 win over No. 8 South Carolina on Wednesday night.

Friday marks the 293rd meeting between the two longtime Atlantic Coast Conference rivals. The Tar Heels have played Virginia on the diamond more than any other team in history.

UNC will run out its normal weekend starters in Charlottesville. Zac Gallen will take the mound on Friday night, coming off of a 13-strikeout performance where he was named National Pitcher of the Week after his last time out. JB Bukauskas, who had his own 13-strikeout effort last week, is scheduled to start Saturday and Jason Morgan is slated to finish up the series on Sunday.

UNC enters the series at 24-9 on the season, while the Cavaliers are 21-14.
