Two rounds into the 2018 ACC Men’s Golf Championship, UNC remains in sixth place on the team leaderboards at the Old North State Club.

Senior Jose Montaño shot a 4-under-par 68 on Saturday to lead the way for the Tar Heels, while classmate Ben Griffin notched a 69 for his second consecutive round shooting below a 70.

On the individual leaderboards, Griffin sits third overall at 8-under-par.

As a team, the Tar Heels combined to shoot 8-under-par for the day–bringing their total team score to 13-under-par for the tournament.

Georgia Tech holds a 6-stroke lead over second place Clemson and Notre Dame, with Duke and Virginia rounding out the top five just one stroke ahead of UNC.

The final round takes place on Sunday.
