A second-half offensive surge lifted the fourth-ranked UNC men’s soccer team to a 4-0 road victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies on Sunday–clinching the Tar Heels’ third straight ACC Coastal Division championship.

Zach Wright scored right after halftime to open the floodgates for UNC, which scored all four of its goals in a span of 20 minutes.

Then, for the first time in his young college career, Raul Aguilera found the back of the net. The reserve scored in the 56th minute not long after subbing into the game for the Tar Heels (13-2-1).

Virginia Tech (7-8) then felt the wrath of Mauricio Pineda and Cam Lindley, who each scored goals 18 seconds apart in the 63rd minute to put the final nails in the coffin.

In total, UNC put nine shots on goal compared to just one for the Hokies.
