UNC men’s lacrosse is off to a 2-0 start to its season after a 14-6 win over Furman on Saturday afternoon.

Carolina is ranked seventh in the country in the poll released on Monday.

Five Tar Heels scored multiple goals en route to the victory, led by Luke Goldstock. The junior has now scored in 19 consecutive games and paced UNC with three goals and an assist.

Steve Pontrello scored three goals, Patrick Kelly added two and an assist and Michael Tagliaferri scored a pair of goals.

UNC outshot the Paladins in every quarter on the way to the victory. The Tar Heels never trailed.

Carolina will take to Fetzer Field again at two o’clock Saturday afternoon when the Tar Heels host the Hofstra Pride.
