North Carolina men’s golf team concluded the 2015 NCAA Chapel Hill Men’s Golf Regional at six-over-par, resulting in an eighth place finish for the Tar Heels.

Freshman William Register led UNC with a two under par total over the three days of play – placing Register in a tie for 13th place.

UNC Charlotte finished the tournament at 19 under par to win the regional title.

The nation’s top-ranked individual player – Maverick McNealy from Stanford took home the individual medalist honors finishing at nine under par for the tournament.
