The top-seeded UNC men’s basketball team is preparing to take on number four Butler in the Sweet 16 in Memphis Friday.

The South Region, where the Tar Heels are the number one seed, is the only region where the top four seeds are left.

UNC junior point guard Joel Berry is working his way back to being 100 percent after rolling his ankle in the opening round game against Texas Southern.

While the Tar Heels got a scare in the second-round matchup against No. 8 Arkansas, Butler has cruised past two double digit seeds in No. 14 Kent State and 12 Middle Tennessee.

The Bulldogs will have a familiar face to UNC fans in former NC State point guard Tyler Lewis, who is finishing up his career after transferring to Butler. Butler has won the last two meetings with UNC in 2012 and 2014.

UNC and Butler are scheduled to tip off at 7:09 tonight.
