As if the UNC-Duke rivalry wasn’t intense enough…
The men’s basketball team managers from UNC and Duke have a tradition of playing each other before the teams themselves meet on the court. This year’s version actually saw a fight break out – pushing and shoving towards the end of the first half.
The actual Duke-UNC game was postponed this week due to the snow, of course – but even so, it’s no surprise Carolina/Duke Week didn’t end without another twist in the ongoing rivalry. (Carolina won the managers’ game, by the way.)
