The North Carolina baseball team got another dominating victory against an in-state opponent on Tuesday night with a 10-2 victory over Western Carolina.

The No. 4 Tar Heels blitzed the Catamounts to the tune of a 10-0 lead heading into the ninth inning before a pinch-hit home run put Western Carolina on the board.

Carolina got mid-week victories last week over East Carolina and Elon. The Tar Heels then went on to sweep Duke over the weekend.

The streak of in-state games will come to an end on Thursday when UNC will take on Georgia Tech in Chapel Hill.

The series with the Yellow Jackets begins at six o’clock on Thursday night. Game times for the rest of the series are five o’clock Friday evening and two o’clock Saturday afternoon.
