The Tar Heels will have their work cut out for them this weekend as they travel to Miami for a three game series with the Hurricanes.
The two teams have an identical 20-4 records, with Miami being the fourth-ranked team in the nation and UNC being the seventh, according to D1 Baseball.
First pitch Friday is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., with ace Zac Gallen taking the mound for the Tar Heels.
The toughest pitching matchup for UNC will be Saturday, as sophomore studs JB Bukauskas and Michael Mediavilla square off.
Both have 4-0 records with ERAs under 2.75 and first pitch will be at 7:00 p.m.
The final game on Sunday will feature the Tar Heels’ Jason Morgan (2-2, 3.34 ERA) against Miami lefty Danny Garcia (4-2, 2.17 ERA). The game is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
The games Friday and Sunday will be broadcast on WCHL.
