Tony Bradley was the second member of the 2017 NCAA champion UNC basketball team to be chosen in the first round of the NBA Draft on Thursday night.

Bradley was selected with the 28th pick by the Utah Jazz.

Bradley’s decision to enter the draft was one of the most-watched throughout the process following the Tar Heels title run. If he returned, Bradley would have been the centerpiece in the post for next year’s team. But now he is set to start his pro career with guaranteed money that comes with being selected in the first round.

After coming off the bench during his time in Chapel Hill, Bradley was the first player to leave UNC after one season since Brandan Wright in 2007.

Bradley joined Justin Jackson, who went No. 15 to the Sacramento Kings, in being chosen in the first round of this year’s draft.

Bradley added to UNC’s all-time record of 49 players drafted in the first round of the NBA Draft.
