CHAPEL HILL – Three Tar Heels earned Louisville Slugger All-America honors for their performance during the 2013 season.

Junior starting pitcher Kent Emanuel earned a spot on the first team after going 10-3 with a 2.11 ERA in 15 appearances and 14 starts. Emanuel currently leads the ACC with 10 wins and has averaged nearly eight innings per start en route to a league-high 110.2 innings in 2013.

Junior third baseman Colin Moran was named Second Team All-America after leading the country in RBIs during the regular season. Moran finished the regular season with a .357 average to go along with his NCAA-leading 84 RBIs.

Senior first baseman Cody Stubbs earned Third Team All-America honors as he finished third in the country in RBIs with 72. Stubbs also tallied 22 doubles to rank among the top 10 in UNC single season history.

Emanuel was a Third Team All-America by Collegiate Baseball a year ago, while Colin Moran earned third team honors as a freshman.
