Seedings for the Men’s ITA National Indoor Championships were revealed Wednesday, with head coach Sam Paul’s Tar Heels being placed No. 3 overall.

The 16-team event takes place in Seattle from Friday, Feb. 16 through Monday, Feb. 19–and is hosted by the University of Washington.

UNC enters with a perfect 7-0 record to this point in the season, including back-to-back wins over ranked opponents in No. 12 Illinois and No. 16 TCU in the past two weeks.

First up for the Tar Heels will be the No. 14 seed Notre Dame Fighting Irish in a match that is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. on Friday.

The UNC women’s tennis team just won its third ITA National Indoor title since 2013 this past Monday.

Last season saw the Tar Heel men reach the semifinals at the event, just one year after winning it all in 2016.
