GREENSBORO– The Tar Heel women’s swimming and diving team will take the plunge Wednesday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center for a shot at the ACC conference title.

Ranked tenth in the country, Carolina lost only twice in dual meet competition this season. Head Coach Rich DeSelm will be aiming to bring back a championship trophy to Chapel Hill and end a long drought for UNC standards.

The Tar Heels have captured a conference-leading 16 championships, but last won an ACC crown back in 2007. This year, the scoring format has changed.

Instead of only the top 16 competitors counting, the scoring of all 24 participants will go towards their team’s total.

A live video stream of all the event finals can be found on theACC.com Thursday through Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
