CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.– No. 17 UNC men’s soccer takes to the soccer pitch Friday night in a pivotal ACC match against the eleventh-ranked Virginia Cavaliers in Charlottesville.
Carolina is fifth in the ACC standings with a 3-1-5 record and has Virginia nipping at its heels in sixth position with a 3-2-4 mark. The Tar Heels have won three straight ACC matches and appear primed for another possible postseason run.
Carolina has yet to lose a road match this season, but Virginia’s high-octane scoring attack that ranks ninth nationally will test the resolve of the Tar Heels.
The 7 p.m. ACC contest can be viewed on the ACC Digital Network.
