WINSTON-SALEM– In thrilling fashion, the No. 5 Tar Heel women’s soccer team rallied from behind to sneak out of W. Dennis Spry Stadium with a 2-1 overtime road victory over No. 19 Wake Forest.

Kealia Ohai took the game in her hands in the 98th minute, getting an unassisted goal to seal the crucial ACC win. It was Ohai’s eight score of the season, and with the comeback win, the Tar Heels secured home field advantage in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals next Sunday.

Impressively, UNC outshot the Demon Deacons by a 19-3 margin. Now, Carolina sits at 15-3 overall and 9-3 in conference. Wake Forest dropped to 10-5-2 in total and 5-5-2 in the ACC.

Next up for the defending national champion Tar Heels will be a home showdown with Duke Thursday at 7 p.m. in the regular season finale.
