UNC senior cornerback MJ Stewart has accepted an invitation to play in the 2018 Reese’s Senior Bowl, it was announced on Monday.
Stewart is the Tar Heels’ all-time career leader with 41 pass breakups during his time in Chapel Hill–including 12 this past season.
The two-time All-ACC honorable mention selection is the only UNC player taking place in this year’s Senior Bowl, which annually showcases the nation’s top senior collegiate football players and NFL Draft prospects.
Participants in the Senior Bowl are assigned to teams representing the North or the South–squads that each receive guidance from the entire staff of an NFL teams.
The game is held each year at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama. This year’s edition is scheduled for Jan. 27, 2018.
