CHAPEL HILL– No. 9 Carolina will be hoping to close out the regular season campaign in style on Senior Night Friday in Chapel Hill against rival N.C.State.

The 8-3-5 Tar Heels have been playing their best soccer of the season of late, having won three in a row and five of its last six matches overall.

N.C.State sits at 7-5-4 on the season and would like nothing better than to spoil Carolina’s hopes at hosting the ACC Tournament next week.

Before Friday evening’s match, three seniors will be honored. Josh Rice, Chipper Root and Alex Walters will feature in the brief ceremony that will recognize their commitment to the program.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Fetzer Field and can be seen on GoHeelsTV.
