UNC senior point guard Joel Berry was named a Third Team All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, which released its selections on Wednesday.
In 36 starts for the Tar Heels this season, Berry averaged a career-high 17.1 points, 3.2 assists and three rebounds per game. The Florida native was also a First Team All-ACC selection alongside teammate Luke Maye.
He was joined on the NABC Third Team All-American roster by a group that includes: Villanova wing Mikal Bridges, West Virginia guard Jevon Carter, Texas Tech guard Keenan Evans and Virginia guard Kyle Guy.
